Shipping policy
We deliver to all UK postcodes only, we cannot deliver medicines to any location outside the United Kingdom under any circumstance. Prescription medicines may only be shipped within the UK subject to local laws and on strict condition that the prescription has been issued by an RCVS registered veterinarian. We can accept orders for medicines medicines placed by customers outside the UK, but those orders MUST have shipping address located inside the UK. In all cases, the placement of an order for prescription veterinary medicines can only be accepted if the prescription is issued by an RCVS-registered veterinarian who is recorded on the RCVS Find A Vet database.
1. UK Mainland:
Delivery times quoted are contingent on the following fulfilment criteria being fully met;
a) Orders (once approved) are dispatched Monday to Friday during business hours only.
b) As soon as we receive your pet's prescription and/or Pet Health Form, we will carry out the necessary validity checks to ensure everything is in order before dispatching your order to you. Please note that these checks often involve contacting the prescribing veterinary surgeon or practice. While some practices respond promptly, others may take longer due to their busy schedules.
To provide realistic expectations, we respectfully ask our customers to allow 1–2 business days for these checks to be completed. A business day for MyPetsVet is Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, as noted on every page of our website.
These checks are a necessary part of the order process for any online source of prescription medication. Due to this enforced shipping delay whilst these checks are being carried out, it is not recommended that pet owners use online veterinary pharmacies to obtain any medication they deem to be urgent.
While prescription orders can be placed on our website 24 hours a day, if an order is submitted outside the business hours specified (including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays) it will not be processed until the next business day, at which point the 1–2 business day timeframe for verification will begin. Your order will only enter the packing and shipping process once this verification is complete.
It is important to understand that it is only after this prescription verification period and the packing and shipping process are completed that the delivery 'window' begins. The Royal Mail Signed For® 1st Class service we use for paid delivery is quoted on their website as adding 2-3 days for delivery (NB: this timeframe is stated as an "aim", not a guarantee).
c) Total delivery timeframes quoted above are reliant on stock being in hand. Orders of non-stock items will add 1 day.
d) Delivery timeframes of both prescription and non-prescription products apply to orders placed prior to the 1pm dispatch deadline.
e) The free delivery option is a Royal Mail Signed For® 2nd Class delivery service for single orders valued at £75 or more. Multiple individual orders cannot be combined to qualify for this offer. Customers may elect to pay to override the free Royal Mail 2nd class delivery in favour of 1st class, in which case the standard Royal Mail Signed For 1st Class rates shown below will be added in full at checkout.
f) The free delivery option is not available on any product requiring specialist packaging or delivery measures. This primarily concerns prescription drugs that must be shipped and stored in a temperature-controlled environment, refridgerated drugs such as Caninsulin or Librela are examples of this group. These drugs are subject (without exemption) to the Temperature-Controlled Shipping rates in the table below.

4. Worldwide

Delivery Policy
Your "Billing address" is your debit/credit card registration address. Your order will be sent to your "Shipping Address", which may be different from your "Billing Address", especially when using PayPal or PayPal Express - please take care at checkout to ensure that your Billing Address and Shipping Address are accurate.
We can only ship orders to the customer's own private residential address, or (by request) the residential address of a family member where that residential address is a single-occupancy residence (i.e. not a flat or room in a shared property). We cannot deliver either prescription or non-prescription items to non-residential addresses unless you hold a trade account with us, and deliveries also cannot be made to P.O Boxes or parcel pick-up points in commercial addresses. If products are ordered for delivery to such prohibited addresses, and since no order can be placed without accepting our T&C's (which include our Shipping Policy), then we will not be held responsible for the subsequent loss of these products.
Please note that due to the checks required prior to your order being authorised for dispatch, MyPetsVet does not generally provide "Next Day Delivery" . The dispatch of your order is dependent on when your order is placed and the stock availability. We endeavour to dispatch your orders within 24-48 hours (business hours only). MyPetsVet does not have any warehousing or storage facility available, meaning that we only hold moderate volumes of the most popular products. This often means that your order must first be placed with our supplier to arrive with us the following day, and only then is it shipped to you.
Once the item is in the couriers network we are unable to influence the time of delivery if it has been delayed for reasons beyond our control. If orders are returned to us by the courier company, we reserve the right to add an additional delivery charge for re-dispatch. Please be aware that if the Standard Delivery is late there is no refund for the delivery service, as it is not a guaranteed service, the Royal Mail simply state that the quoted delivery period as an "aim", not a guarantee. Standard Delivery is a Monday to Friday collection and delivery service. We cannot give a time of delivery, nor can we guarantee the day. Our only access to delivery information is via the same Royal Mail tracking number sent with your shipping confirmation email.
